Sometimes you just need to get away,
Take a break, escape. And that’s what the family had in mind when they settled on a waterfront block on the peaceful South Stradbroke Island. South Straddie is remote, with no vehicle barges, no cars, limited accommodation and even fewer tradesmen. So it was no easy feat to pull together a project facing a lot of upfront challenges. Nonetheless, the finished product speaks for itself. It’s open, it’s roomy, and it feels like a home away from home.
